Jimi Hendrix in London: The Ultimate Tour
Handel Hendrix House has teamed up with Music Heritage London (Tours & Events), to offer fans of the legendary Jimi Hendrix the ultimate sightseeing experience in London.
These 2-hours (approx.) sightseeing tours have been carefully curated to include as many of the celebrated London locations associated with Jimi and can be taken before or after your visit to Handel Hendrix House where all tours start and finish.

In this talk, Guitar specialist Nigel will focus on the London blues explosion of the mid sixties, how Jimi's blues style had an impact on the city, what was happening pre-Hendrix and how Jimi's playing style and tone change not only the blues, but music forever.
This talk will feature, guitar playing examples to help enhance the talk.

ROBIN TROWER: A Romp In 12-Bar Blues

The Trower solo albums of the early to mid 1970s, Twice Removed From Yesterday, Bridge Of Sighs and For Earth Below, prominently featured the guitarist merging blues, controlled feedback, ethereal soundscapes and wah-wah peddle assaults into his signature sound: otherworldly guitar-fueled excursions into the subjective realms of his inner space juxtaposed with solid, hammering, blues rock lead work. Trower’s first three solo albums guaranteed him a permanent place in the eternally changing guitarist hall of fame.
When this interview was conducted in 1997, Trower had recently turned 52 in March that year and was touring in support of his 18th album Someday Blues, his first 12-Bar blues release. The guitarist spoke about singing for the first time on Someday Blues, “I wasn’t sure I was going to do a blues album, but this material just started to come together, and I started to think, ‘Who am I going to get to sing it?’

Film chronicles the creation of groundbreaking New York recording studio. Deluxe collection includes 38 previously unreleased Jimi Hendrix recordings from 1970 plus 20 new 5.1 surround sound mixes on Blu-ray.
On September 13, Experience Hendrix L.L.C., in partnership with Legacy Recordings, the catalog division of Sony Music Entertainment, is releasing Electric Lady Studios: A Jimi Hendrix Vision, a deluxe box set offering 39 tracks (38 previously unreleased) that were recorded by the new-look Jimi Hendrix Experience (Billy Cox on bass, Mitch Mitchell on drums) at Electric Lady Studios between June and August of 1970, just before the legendary musician’s untimely death the following month.

Gezeigt werden 250 Werke aus über 1000! Es finden während den rund 20 Monaten der Ausstellung diverse Veranstaltungen statt. Über 1900 Besucher in den letzten 20 Monaten. Erfolgreich, da ständig wechselnden Exponaten.

The Jimi Hendrix Tribute Concert - Rockpalast 1991 jetzt auf DVD/CD erhältlich!
Ein beeindruckendes Konzert aus der Rockpalast - Rocklife Zeit war das Jimi Hendrix Concert in Köln, E-Werk am 25. April 1991. Peter Bursch hatte die Idee, Uli Jon Roth wurde musikalischer Direktor. Dabei waren u.a. Jack Bruce, Randy Hansen, Jule Neigel, John Wetton und Simon Phillips.
Nun ist es MIG endlich gelungen dieses Tribute Concert auf CD/DVD heraus zu geben.
